This handcrafted Seed God Fertility Kachina doll was hand carved by Zuni artisan Felino Eriacho. Felino is well known for his kachina dolls and fetish carvings.
This wonderful Seed God Fertility kachina is carved from cottonwood root and then painted with natural pigments. He is clothed in cotton and trimmed with yarn. He holds a grinding stone in one hand and a sack of seed in the other. He brings the seed to Zuni for the planting season.
Measures about 8" tall.
Hallmarked by the Zuni artisan. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
