Description

The Whipper kachina main responsiblity is to maintain order during a ceremony. He whips other kachinas (clown kachinas), childrenn and poeple when they misbehave. He carries strands of yucca in each hand that he uses as a whip.
This piece is beautifully carved with great detail. It measures 11 inches tall. It is carved by Duwayne Chee (Navajo).
