Six Vintage, circa 1970-1980, Hopi Kachinas

Description

This is a lot of six Hopi Kachina dolls.  The dolls are made to represent the spirits of deities, animals and elements.
The Kachina doll is made to give the children during some of the ceremonies.  The dolls then allow the members of
the tribe to teach the children about them; thus carry on tradition.  These six dolls were probably made in the Hopi
Reservations in Arizona in the 1970' or 80's when my husband's parents lived in Arizona.  some of the pieces may be
missing.  I could not identify the spirits, animals or elements that were intended to be represented.  If you need more
