Description
The Seychelles 50 rupee banknote was released by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 2004. The note comes in green, brown, and lilac combinations and is 151 x 75 mm in size. It features on its obverse the coat of arms of Seychelles, the map of the country, an angelfish, Paille en queue orchids, and a silver foil sailfish. The banknotes reverse bears cowrie shells lining up on the upper left, the clock tower situated in Victoria, a yellow-fin tuna fish, and a tiomitio bird. The paper bill has a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a watermark that depicts a turtle, and a registration device in the form of a turtle. Additionally, the banknote has the signature of Francis Chang-Leng. This Seychelles 50 rupee banknote comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
