When I bought my home here in Henderson Nevada I wanted to decorate with Southwest style furniture and decorations. I found a company out of Flagstaff Arizona who held traveling shows featuring a very large amount of rugs and weaving's, pottery, jewelry and many other tribal items from many Reservations all over the United States. I didn't know anything about Kachina Dolls but was intrigued by them. I bought several about 18 years ago and now that I have gotten much older it is time to let someone else enjoy them as I have over the years. I have or will have other Kachina Dolls listed here on E-Bay. You can view them by clicking on Sellers Store.
This Kachina measures approximately 10 inches tall with the base and the doll measures approximately 9 inches tall. The base measures approximately 4 inches across.
This doll had an appraised value of 0.00 18 years ago. I have it listed significantly lower. I was told some time ago that the value of these Kachina dolls can increase in value as the carver achieves more notoriety by winning more awards at competition events. I don't know if this is true but it does make sense.
