    DAVID FREELAND 9" Sterling Silver Turquoise KACHINA Doll Dancer Sculpture

    DIMENSIONS:

    DESCRIPTION:
    Kachina dancer sculpture by DAVID R. FREELAND JR.
    Crow Mother.  Sterling silver inlaid with turquoise and other stones.  The various narrative accessories are removable (headdress, clothing, ceremonial tools).  Hand crafted.
    Markings:  stamped "Sterling" on bottom and hand signed "DRF JR".  The figure has a wrist tag stamped ".925".
    Circa 2000 I believe.  USA.

    CONDITION:
    There is a small loss to the turquoise on the front leg of the pedestal.  Possible small ding to the onyx on the inside of the upraised foot.  Consult photos.  These issues are not conspicuous.
    Otherwise this sculpture is in excellent original condition with no other damage and no significant wear.  No apparent restorations or repairs.
    No other losses, chips, dings, etc.  No cracks, splits, flakes, bends, breaks, scuffs, abrasions.  None of the stones are loose.  No significant scratches or rubs.
    The hinges and clasps are functional with no hinges.
    Clean as found.  Old patina as found.
    Displays well.
