    A Skookum Indian doll, in its original box.   Dolls like these were often sold to tourists and helped support Native Americans living on reservations.
    This doll is a 9.75" tall figure. The hair appears to be mohair. As can be seen in the photos, the hair in back has thinned and some of the straw inside is visible.  This could probably be repaired. This doll has the Bully Good sticker on the sole. The original box shows some wear and the lid is split at the corners.
