. Built by Gilbert. Condition is "Used"
My father worked for the Reading Company/Conrail from the 50s until he retired. He would start his 8' x 12' American Flier train yard in our basement at Thanksgiving and we children couldn't see it until Christmas day.
This engine and several other pieces that I will be listing were all that was left from that layout when our family cleaned out his house. My father gave most everything away.
I believe that this has not been run since around 1964.
I HAVE NO WAY TO TEST THIS.
Please see pictures as they are part of the description. The only surface flaw that I can see is the NH decal is coming off the front plus normal ware from use. Decal is slightly damaged on one corner, but can be glued back. It could use a good cleaning and oiling.
